This project was created as a bedtime gift for my son — a night lamp shaped like the letter T, his favorite letter. More than just a lamp, it brings a soft magical glow to bedtime routines, making the room feel cozy, calm, and special.
✨ Features
- Designed to fit IKEA UPPLYST electrical parts
- Uses IKEA TRÅDFRI E14 LED bulb – 470 lumens, controllable via Zigbee
- Brightness can be adjusted wirelessly
- Snap-fit design – no glue or screws needed for assembly
- Optional wall mounting (screw holes included)
- Can be mounted with just 3M double-sided tape
- No supports required during 3D printing
🖨️ Printing Instructions
- Parts: 2 printable pieces (front and back)
- No supports required
- Recommended material: PLA or PETG
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 10–20% (for light diffusion and structure)
🔧 Assembly
- Print both parts
- Snap them together using the pressure-fit design
- Install the IKEA UPPLYST socket and TRÅDFRI bulb
- Mount to the wall using screws or 3M tape
- Pair the bulb with your Zigbee hub and enjoy the magic!
