Description

Anyone who lays eyes on this artwork for the first time will instantly wonder from the bottom of their heart, "Won't this banana rot?" So, I created this "everlasting banana artwork." It functions perfectly as a refrigerator magnet, and by applying adhesive to the back, it can also double as a wall hook. This project permanently preserves a meaningful piece of art while giving it everyday utility.

Filament Recommendations

  • Banana Body: PLA - Lemon Yellow
  • Duct Tape: PLA - Silver
  • Backplate & Other Parts: PLA- White

Assembly Instructions

Assembly is very straightforward and only requires a little super glue. Don't worry if you accidentally insert the refrigerator magnet backwards; the magnet in the tape section can be easily removed and reinstalled. Note that the magnets inside the refrigerator backplate must be embedded during a print pause. This pause has already been pre-configured in the print profile. The design is sized for 4x2 mm round magnets. Alternatively, you can skip the backplate entirely and just use the banana and tape by themselves as magnets.

This creation is purely born out of personal creativity. Wishing for world peace!
