1947 年中国从美国引进手扶拖拉机试验；1957 年武汉通用机器厂（后武汉柴油机厂）试制成功中国第一台 3-4 马力手扶拖拉机。
1958 年中国开始小批量生产，1960 年代推出工农 7 型等经典机型并统一图纸量产；1990 年代后在南方水田与全国小块耕地广泛普及，成为农村重要的农机装备和短途交通、运输工具。
模型外观尺寸：长395mm、宽140mm、高185mm。
货箱没有完全按照实物的尺寸比例制作，而是稍微缩短了一点，以保证方便打印。
除了安装默认的货箱作为运输工具（这样更像一辆简单的车），也可以安装耕田机模块，变成一个农业工具。这个模块会以一个单独的配置文件发布。
