WHAT IS THIS?
This complete kit includes the newest version of the ACE GEN2 KobraX printhead service jig. You can use this for cleaning, service, clog clearing and more.
It's designed to hold delicate parts in place while you perform maintenance - reducing the chance of damaging your printhead. This is a safest alternative to servicing your printhead vs. mounted on the gantry!

I created this jig after seeing Kobra X owners struggle with one of the most intimidating parts of printer ownership: taking apart the ACE GEN2 printhead. What started as a simple way to hold my own printhead safely became something I kept improving and sharing with the community. Each version came from lessons learned, real repairs, and feedback from other makers. For me, this is what 3D printing is about—creating something that helps someone else fix, learn, and keep printing.

PRINTING TIPS
Be sure to watch this VERY IMPORTANT VIDEO on bolt tray printing tips.
- MAGNETIC DUMP TRAYS: Pauses at layer 20, USE GLUE and INSERT magnets, allow to dry, RESUME.
- LEGS: Print 1 first, allow to cool. Test fit. Size up or down 1% as needed. Print remaining 3 after fit confirmed.
