Description

This is a remixed version of @Manethon_Sega_3814903 filament guide just added the ability to use a PC4-M10 pass through fitting to allow the ptfe tube to go through the fitting and snug up against the ACE's feeder.

  • I have the the guide positioned in 4 different orientations labeled (See photo) choose the one you want make 3 copies or total of 4 and remove the rest and remove the text text is only there as a label. Supports have been pre painted if you use the .3mf file make sure supports are set to manual organic tree supports.

What It Helps With:

  • Straight Filament Feeding: Keeps the filament lined up perfectly, making it way easier and smoother to load.
  • Stops Spool Tangles: Lifts the filament over itself on the spool to relax tight spots and cut down on jams.
  • Keeps Filament Under Control: If the ACE Pro slips during a pullback (hey, it happens), the filament stays tucked inside the PTFE tube instead of making a mess inside the machine.

Materials needed:

  1. 4x PC4-M10 fittings
  2. Click Here for Link
  3. 1 m (3.5 feet) of PTFE tube (I used upgraded Capricorn PTFE/ If you use this you may need to bore out some of the ID to make the filament funnel in seeing it has a smaller ID then standard ptfe)
  4. Capricorn PTFE
  5. Regular PTFE (this comes with 8 fittings already so you dont need to buy them separately and 6m of different color tubing get creative!)

Instructions:

Click on the LINK HERE, the original creators instructions are the exact same with only two differences and theirs are quit good.

  1. Your using PC4-M10 fitting instead
  2. When you install push the PTFE tube passed the printed part just enough to match the OEM part you removed about 5mm'ish

Install Tip:

  • When you install dont try to put it in straight I broke one doing that I found if you put it in on an angle and spin it into locking position it works perfectly
  • put them in at a 45 like a diamond in a square then spin it, it works sooo much better!!
  • you may need pliers for installing the fitting
  • yes its loose so is the OEM but its less noticeable because its flat the looseness is needed.
