Description

Replacement extruder tension arm for the Anycubic Kobra S1.

The model of the arm was created on request by me to my father when the original extruder arm had broken into dozens of pieces and clogged the extruder gears.

This is a critical part as there is no way to put tension on the feeding mechanism without one.

Anycubic or vendors that sell what little parts there is for this printer at the moment does NOT sell single piece parts for their components. (as of august 2025).

The alternative is to buy a completely new extruder, which is both unecessary, expensive and could take weeks to recieve.

The difference in this design as opposed to the original arm it mainly that the gear will be housed inside the arm. This will require a choice of material and 100% infill to allow for a bit of bend and flex.

I would recommend to print one for backup, so you avoid the paradox I originally encountered where I needed a 3D printer to fix my 3D printer.

Do as you wish with this file, modify and use to your hearts content, and I hope that it will help someone out!

Printer settings:

0,2mm layer height or finer, but pivot points and axle holes fit nicely at 0,2mm.

100% Infill.

2-3 Walls.

Tree-supports.

Print as depicted in the slice picture.
