Bissell Powerfresh mop broken handle sleeve

Description

This is a slide on sleeve for the Bissel steam mop. As the handle screws have broken off due to brittle plastic inside. The top handle assembly has become loose and wobbly. I designed this so that it slides on the middle stem with the handle removed. You then put the handle back on and once assembled slide the sleeve on to the handle to fix it in place this presses the two plastic piece of the handle to not come loose.

Instructions:

There are two ways to go about this. You can either remove the top handle where the trigger is by unscrewing the 5 screws that hold it together and slide on the sleeve and reassemble. Or you can remove it from the other side of the stem which connects to the main body and steam unit. That should only be 1 screw holding it in. When putting the part on check the inner slanted groove on the inside to match the diagonal slant of the handle as then the part will fit nicely. If fitted correctly the hole should align with the screw hole.

I recommend printing it in at least PETG since this is supposed to be a tight fit to cause squeeze on the parts to keep them in place as to not break.
