The 3D printing profile used is designed for high printing speed and allows for rapid production of the component. Higher feed rates and accelerations are used, thereby significantly reducing the manufacturing time. However, such fast profiles always represent a compromise between time and quality. Despite the increased speed, this profile ensures that the surface quality remains sufficiently good. The surface of the printed part is generally relatively clean, but the typical layer lines of the FDM process are clearly visible. These are caused by the layer-by-layer application of the material and result in a slightly ribbed structure.
