Camping Shower Pump Addon Filter Cap

This is an add-on filter cap designed specifically for generic portable camping shower water pumps (commonly found on AliExpress and Amazon). It acts as a secondary line of defense to catch any stray debris that might make it past the stock foam filter, helping to protect your pump motor and keep your water flow clean.

Print Settings & Slicer Instructions

CRITICAL: The filter mesh itself is not a physical part of the 3D model geometry. Instead, the mesh is generated using your slicer's infill settings. You must adjust your slicer settings for this to print correctly.

Top and Bottom Layers: 0 (Setting these to zero exposes the internal infill, creating the mesh).

Infill Pattern: 3D Honeycomb (or your preferred pattern).

Infill Density: 25%

Material: PETG is highly recommended due to its water resistance, durability, and suitability for outdoor use.

Note on performance: I have tested this model using the 3D honeycomb pattern at 25% density. It successfully catches stray debris with absolutely no negative impact on the pump's water flow.

Installation Instructions

Mounting this cap is quick and requires minimal disassembly:

Locate the bottom of your camping shower pump.

Remove the two screws on the bottom.

Carefully remove the outer housing.

Slide the printed filter cap directly onto the pump motor.

Reassemble the housing and tighten the screws back into place.
