In the shadow of the old mountain roads, where caravans vanish and broken bones mark the forest trails, two dwarves hunt what others fear to name.
They are troll slayers.
One stands firm as an iron gate, his beard tangled with dust, ash, and old victories. The other kneels beside his hammer, listening for the heavy footsteps beneath the trees. They do not fight for glory, nor for gold, but because someone must stand between the villages and the monsters that crawl down from the hills.
Trolls are hard to kill. They heal. They rise. They remember.
But these dwarves remember too.
Every scar, every fallen kin, every oath carved into stone. When the fire is lit and the hammers are raised, even the trolls learn fear.
