Description

#Good night everybody!

I'm quite new to the 3D world and started my experience with an Anycubic Kobra 3 combo.

As soon as I received it, I noticed that I could change some things that could make the look more beautiful and functional, starting with the orientation of the Teflon tubes, through which the filament passes from the Acepro, and i then created a model that is mounted on the upper aluminum bar of the Kobra 3, which changes the position of the filament feed to the print head, only, you need to remove two screws to remove the top bar of the printer and install the model I created.

Why the created accessory?

Owners, please note that the displacement of the print head of our Anycubic Kobra 3 causes the Teflon tubes to suffer plastic deformation, as the constant movement leaves the tube irregular in its original shape in the same way, because the teflon tube lock on the print head is completely fixed, it ends up receiving the efforts coming from the 4 teflon tubes, I was able to prove this with a very simple test, I released the tubes from the original support and held them with the tips of my fingers, then I moved the printing head along the x axis, the force caused and the effort that the printing head receives is clear, any other accessory that conditions the tubes in this position, even more so making them more inclined towards the support original, it will cause problems with the printer.

I created a part that can be detached from the base that is mounted on the printer, for easier and faster maintenance, when it is necessary to remove the tubes, without the need to remove all the tubes from inside the support. The impression of the shape on the model will ensure that the fit is very tight and this is intentional, as this piece must have a precise fit and not move easily.

Even though it was my first piece created and designed, I took great care by printing several copies and refining the model, before posting it to you, to ensure that the result is positive and that there were no adjustment problems with the piece. I also sent photos and explanations to Anycubic, so that the engineers can analyze and test this solution. Who knows, perhaps we will have an update on this subject in the future?

Tips for printing the model:

Material: Anycubic PLA+

Layer Height: 0.16mm

Line width: 0.32mm

Sparse infill density: 20%

As soon as we have a larger printhead cable (I'm designing mine) and Anycubic responded that it is something users are requesting and engineers are working on, I will post a new part that aligns the cable for this MOD, leaving the 100% complete solution.

To everyone, good impressions! That's all folks!!!
