Description
Some flowers deserve better than a jam jar. This slim vase stands about 20 cm tall and looks right with just three or four stems in it, and a light vine of leaves and small blossoms is worked into the outside so the surface catches the light instead of sitting there plain. The pattern stops short of the rim and the foot, which keeps the silhouette clean and leaves a plain band for the eye to rest on. Printed in matte white or a pale stone tone it reads like something from a design shop, and a bolder colour makes the vine pop even more. One solid piece with nothing to assemble and no supports, so it goes straight from the plate to the shelf, and it keeps earning its place with a few dried stems once the fresh ones are done.
