Description

ModuSlide – Full Bed First Layer Network Test

100 Test Points • 240 × 240 mm • Only 9.8 g of Filament!

Test Your Entire Print Bed in One Print! 🖨️

Introducing the ModuSlide Full Bed First Layer Network Test – a unique and lightweight calibration model designed to help you evaluate first-layer quality across your entire print bed.

Unlike traditional first-layer tests that use large solid squares, this design features 100 filled circular test points connected in a geometric network.

The result is a practical, visually distinctive test that uses very little filament while covering a large printing area.

Key Features

  • 100 Test Points: A 10 × 10 grid of filled circles distributed across the print bed.
  • Full Bed Coverage: 240 × 240 mm test area, including corners, edges, and center.
  • Connected Network: All circles are connected, allowing the entire test to be removed in one piece.
  • Low Filament Consumption: Only 9.8 g in our tested print.
  • Fast Printing: Approximately 34 minutes with our tested settings.
  • Ultra-Thin Design: Only 0.40 mm thick, designed for two 0.20 mm layers.
  • No Supports Required: Print directly on the build plate.

What Can You Test?

✅ First-layer consistency

✅ Bed leveling and mesh compensation

✅ Z-offset adjustment

✅ Bed adhesion

✅ Extrusion consistency

✅ Print quality across different areas of the build plate

How to Use

  1. Place the model flat on your build plate.
  2. Use a 0.20 mm layer height to produce exactly two layers.
  3. Print without supports or a raft.
  4. Inspect the first layer while printing.
  5. Compare the circular test points across the corners, edges, and center.
  6. After printing, carefully remove the connected network.

Look for gaps between extrusion lines, excessive squishing, uneven surfaces, or areas with poor adhesion.

Tested Successfully! ✅

Our prototype was printed and successfully removed from the build plate in one complete piece, without breaking the connecting lines.

Test Results:

  • Dimensions: 240 × 240 × 0.40 mm
  • Test points: 100
  • Print time: 34 minutes
  • Filament used: 9.80 g
  • Layer height: 0.20 mm
  • Supports: None

Print time and filament consumption may vary depending on your printer, filament, and slicer settings.
