Print-in-Place Mini Dump / Garbage Truck (No Supports / Moving Parts)

Description

๐Ÿšš A cute and compact Mini Truck, ready to play with right off the build plate!

This model has been carefully designed as a true Print-in-Place: it prints in one single piece with no need for supports or post-assembly.

It is perfect as a small toy, a desk gadget, or a tolerance test for your 3D printer. The design features both smooth-rolling wheels and a fully tiltable bed.

โœจ Main Features:

  • Zero Supports: Designed to be printed directly on the build plate with no waste material.
  • Integrated Moving Parts: Free-rolling wheels and an articulated dump bed.
  • Sturdy Design: Clean lines and calculated thicknesses to withstand use.

๐Ÿ›  Recommended Print Settings: To get the best results in terms of aesthetics and the strength of the moving parts, I suggest these parameters:

  • Material: PLA (great for tight tolerances)
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm
  • Perimeters (Walls): 3 (crucial for adding the right strength to the joints and wheel axles)
  • Infill: 20%

โš  Important Post-Printing Note (First Use): Right after removing the truck from the build plate, the tolerances of the tiltable bed might be slightly fused due to adjacent layers. For the very first movement, gently but firmly lift the bed to "break" these tiny printing bonds. You might hear a slight "crack": this is completely normal! After this initial release, the bed will move smoothly and freely.

Happy printing! And don't forget to upload your makes!
