Description

Create a wearable fake beard for cosplay, themed parties, or Viking, wizard and lumberjack costumes. Print the model using PLA filament with a 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill and two perimeters. No additional supports are required, but good bed adhesion is important for a successful print. The model can also be used to test your printer's bridging capabilities. After printing, carefully trim away the temporary front wall, which supports the hair strands during printing. Use a hairdryer to shape the strands and scissors to trim the beard to your preferred length and style. Finally, thread an elastic band or string through the attachment holes to secure the beard comfortably to your face. Experiment with different filament colors, beard lengths and styling techniques to create different costume looks.
