Calling all cat lovers and 3D printing enthusiasts! Meet I❤️Cat, a heartwarming desk sculpture combining the iconic heart-hand gesture with the cozy, sleeping face of a happy kitten.
It looks like a complex print, but don't worry: the geometry has been smoothed out for a hassle-free slicing experience!
🛠️ Print Settings & Quick Tips:
- Difficulty: Beginner-to-Intermediate. Easier than keeping a real cat off your warm print bed!
- Supports: Minimal required. Thanks to the smooth, organic contours, support material is kept to a minimum. Just throw in a few light tree/organic supports right under the lower arch of the hands and beneath the cat's chin. The rest of the hands and fingers print cleanly without extra support.
- Filament Recommendation: Matte PLA (in dusty rose, pastel peach, or warm white) gives it a flawless, sculpture-like finish where layer lines practically disappear!
- Recommended Layer Height: 0.16 mm – 0.20 mm hits the sweet spot. Enabling Variable/Adaptive Layer Height over the top curves of the hands will yield super smooth top surfaces.
- Infill: 10–15% Gyroid or 3D Honeycomb provides plenty of structural strength.
