I've noticed that, with the S1, the first bit of the first layer never prints correctly because the nozzle isn't properly primed. One way to solve this, of course, is to add a skirt but this isn't always possible with certain very large prints.
This printer profile adds a nozzle purge/prime line at the front/center of the plate that uses about 1mm of space (varies by nozzle diameter).
