Description

Hola Guys,

Recently, I'm facing the issue that I have more and more small tools and things for the printer, and just in common, and I also have limited space now, that's when the idea came that I can use my printer as some small storage. That's why I designed this model, so I can just throw a metal thing onto the side of the printer.

What do you need for assembly?

  1. Printed Front and Back part
  2. 5pcs M3 x 10mm countersunk screw
  3. 5pcs M3 x 5.7mm insert
  4. Soldering Iron (if possible, with the proper insert adapters)

What additions can you apply?

  1. D6 x 3mm magnet
  2. D10 x 2mm magnet
  3. 10mm magnetic strip

(Magnets, screws, and inserts can be bought from Aliexpress)

How to assemble?

  1. Apply the inserts to the Front panel holes. (For the soldering iron, I used 200°C)
  2. Screw together the Front and the back panel with the M3 x 10 screws
  3. Remove the two screws from the back panel of the printer
  4. Align the Front panel to the printer's front
  5. Snap the panel to the back of the printer
  6. Screw back the two screw from the back of the printer
  7. Push the magnets in place (This can be done before the assembly of the printer, also)

I'm planning to design more and more add-ons to the panels, and soon I'll upload the USB side panel also.

If you have any requests or ideas, feel free to contact me.
