Kobra S1 Max Active Carbon Holder
For those who owns a S1 Max the deliered carbon pellets bag is quite disappointing. It has the same size as the one delivered for the S1 but the insertion cavity is much bigger on the Max, allowing air to flow around the bag and not through it, rendering it useless.
Some designs are already available but the extremely skewed geometry makes the exact fit cumbersome to draw. I was not 100% happy with some models I have downloaded as.the width was too thin and suboptimal.
Inspired by the excellent model to the S1 Kobra S1 Chamber Filter- Refillable - Makeronline - More Than Fun I decided to invest a little time to make a box that fill completely the filter cavity.
The model can acomodate almost twice as much pellets as delivered in the standard bag, and 50% more as the other filter boxes designs with parallel walls.
The cover sits on top by pressure. I added some xy compensation as I printed in ABS and this material shrinks a little. Please DO NOT print this in PLA as it sits just above the internal chamber heater. Only PETG, ABS, ASA, etc should be used.
