Remix of Andrew's KOBRA X Front Cover (public domain, CC0) for the Anycubic Kobra X toolhead. The cobra artwork is my own drawing.
What's new
- Symmetric honeycomb vents around the screen window.
- A cobra emblem at the bottom. Its belly ribs are cut through as vents, and the lowest rib opens through the bottom edge so you can still see the nozzle.
3 versions (pick one)
- A - White cobra: the whole cobra is a flush colour inlay on the front face.
- B - White details: only the hood lines, eyes, fangs and face lines are inlaid.
- C - Single colour: no inlay, just the rib vents and honeycomb.
Print settings
- Kobra X with ACE, 0.4 nozzle, textured PEI plate. Prints face down, no supports.
- A/B: cover filament in slot 4, inlay filament in slot 2. Both must be PETG - a PLA inlay will not bond to a PETG cover. Pictured: black cover with white inlay.
- Keep first layer 0.20 mm and layer height 0.16 mm so the inlay depth (0.36 mm) lines up.
- Prime tower ON for A/B, OFF for C.
- PETG tips: turn on Avoid crossing walls to cut stringing in the honeycomb, and dry your filament first.
