Lamp Shade

Description

Bring new life to your standing lamp with this elegant pleated 3D-printed lamp shade, designed to print beautifully in vase mode for a clean, seamless finish. The shade measures 8.5 inches in diameter and 8.5 inches tall, with a 42 mm mounting hole compatible with many standard lamp hardware styles.

The model includes two parts:

1️⃣ Main Shade (Vase-Mode STL)

A fully solid STL meant to be printed in spiral/vase mode for thin walls and smooth, continuous pleats. This prints lightweight and increases the transparency. 

2️⃣ Snap-In Bottom Ring

Once printed, this reinforcement ring simply snaps into the bottom rim of the shade, adding rigidity and helping the shade maintain its shape.

Perfect for replacing a missing shade, upgrading a standing lamp, or creating a custom aesthetic for any room.

Main Shade (Vase Mode)

 • Print mode: Vase/Spiralize Outer Contour

 • Material: PLA+ or PETG, Green PETG-CF shown 

 • Layer height: 0.2–0.24 mm

 • Wall line width: 0.42–0.48 mm (for a single continuous wall)

 • Bottom layers: 4-6

Reinforcement Ring

 • Material: Same as the shade 

 • Layer height: 0.2 mm

 • Walls: 3

 • Supports: Not required

Safety Note

Use only low-heat bulbs such as LED bulbs to avoid excessive heat buildup inside 3D-printed lamp shades.
