This 3D printed gear selector insert is a replacement for the plastic insert inside the automatic shifter housing of the Mitsubishi Pajero / Montero.
The original shifter insert can become scratched, damaged, cracked, or worn over time. This model is designed as a simple 3D printable replacement that fits inside the gear selector trim and follows the movement of the automatic gear lever through the PRND and manual +/- positions.
I printed mine in PETG, and the part shown in the photos has been installed in my Pajero for over one year with no issues, including regular use in a hot climate. PETG is therefore my recommended material due to its good temperature resistance and durability inside a vehicle.
