"We choose to go to the Moon!" — Bring the mightiest machine in human history to your display shelf!
This is a highly detailed, 3D-printable scale model of NASA’s legendary Saturn V rocket, the launch vehicle that propelled the Apollo astronauts to the Moon. Every stage—from the massive F-1 engine cluster at the base of the S-IC stage, up through the S-II and S-IVB stages, all the way to the Apollo Command Module and Launch Escape System—is beautifully represented.
This model has been specifically engineered for single-color printing. You don't need a multi-material system or automated filament changers to get a museum-quality look. The surface details, corrugation textures, and stage separators are deeply embossed, relying on natural shadows and highlights to pop sharply. It has been tolerance-tested to print seamlessly on Anycubic FDM printers (such as the Kobra, Vyper, or Mega series), minimizing vertical wobble and ensuring clean z-axis layers.
Model Features
- Single-Color Optimized: Designed to look incredible using just one spool of filament. The physical geometry maximizes contrast so the iconic USA markings and American flag details stand out naturally.
- Anycubic Slicer Calibrated: Geometrically optimized to prevent standard tall-print issues like z-wobble, layer shifts, or aggressive stringing on standard Anycubic extruder setups.
- Sturdy Display Base: Features a stable, well-balanced footprint so your rocket stays securely upright on your desk or gaming setup.
Recommended Print Settings
- Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm is highly recommended to cleanly capture the fine ribbing on the rocket body, the small fins, and the delicate escape tower at the top.
- Infill: 10% - 15% (Gyroid or Lightning infill works best to keep the top of the rocket lightweight, reducing the risk of tipping during printing).
- Supports: Minimal. Supports are only required under the small fins at the base and the overhangs of the engine nozzles. Tree/Organic supports in your preferred slicer (Anycubic Next, Cura, or PrusaSlicer) are highly recommended for effortless removal.
- Brim: A 5mm to 8mm outer brim is mandatory for this print due to its height-to-width ratio, ensuring it stays firmly anchored to your Anycubic print bed.
