Two new kinetic fidgets combining mechanical movement with fascinating optical effects. Each design offers a different type of motion and a satisfying experience while rotating.

The project includes 2 new designs:

• ⚙️ Planetary Gear Fidget – a planetary gear mechanism with 1 Sun Gear and 4 Planet Gears. The interacting gears create a smooth, coordinated mechanical movement that is both satisfying to operate and interesting to watch.
• 🌀 Spiral Vortex II – a new spiral construction creating a smooth, hypnotic optical effect, with a completely different movement and visual appearance from the previous Spiral Vortex design.

🔗 OPTICAL ILLUSION FIDGETS – Two Designs

This is a new collection with two different mechanisms, designed to complement the previous Optical Illusion Fidgets project.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – ALIGNMENT OF THE DOTS ⚠️

🔴 PAY ATTENTION TO THE MARKING DOTS!

The Sun Gear, Planet Gears, and Ring Gear all have a small alignment dot.

For the mechanism to work correctly, all dots must be positioned in the same orientation during assembly:

⬆️ ALL DOTS UP

OR

⬇️ ALL DOTS DOWN

Do not mix the orientations.

The dots are used to ensure that all gears are correctly aligned with each other. Correct alignment is important for smooth and proper operation of the planetary mechanism.
