One-Handed Bar Clamp Holder for Multiboard/Multibuild

Description

If you've tried printing the existing 4- or 5-clamp multi-holders that only rely on 2 load-bearing snaps, you probably noticed they can feel flimsy. for me they simply do not perform well under the weight of several heavy steel bar clamps.

To fix this, I designed this individual, heavy-duty clamp holder. By isolating each clamp to its own dedicated holder and equipping it with its own integrated, load-bearing snap, the weight is distributed perfectly across your Multiboard. No more sagging, twisting, or flimsy flexing when you hang your clamp.

🛠️ Why this design works better for me:

  • One Snap Per Clamp: Every single holder has its own direct connection to the board, making it rock-solid under load.
  • Modular Setup: Instead of being locked into a fixed 4 or 5-slot rail, you can space these out exactly how you want or add them one by one as your tool collection grows.
  • Perfect Fit: Tailored for one-handed bar clamps (shown here with Kreator clamps), cradling the fixed jaw securely so the bar hangs perfectly vertical.

🖨️ Suggested Print Settings:

  • Material: PLA or PETG (PETG is great if you want a bit of extra flex fatigue resistance for the snap).
  • Walls/Perimeters: 3 to 4 perimeters for optimum strength on the snap and tool cradle.
  • Infill: 15% (Gyroid or Grid).
  • Supports: None required but highly recommend (the snap connector overhang is small enough to print cleanly on a well-tuned machine).
