PFTE Tube remover + Cleaning tool

This is a compact multi‑purpose tool designed for maintaining your 3D printer:

• Axis cleaner:
• The main slot is sized to slide along your printer’s smooth rods/axes to help remove dust, grease buildup, and debris. You can wrap a small piece of paper towel, or felt around the rod and use the tool as a guide to keep even pressure while cleaning.
• PTFE tube removal aid:
• The second feature is a notch/slot that fits around standard PTFE tubing. It gives you extra grip and leverage when pulling PTFE tubes out of fittings or hotends, reducing the risk of bending or damaging the tube with pliers.

Recommended print settings

• Orientation: Flat on the bed
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 20–40%
• Material: PLA or PETG (PETG recommended for extra toughness)
• Supports: Not required (if your printer handles small bridges well)

Usage notes

• Axis cleaning:

1. Power off your pinter
2. Move the axis by hand to access the full length.
3. Place a cloth or felt in the slot and slide the tool along the rod.
4. Optionally apply a small amount of suitable lubricant afterward.

• PTFE removal:

1. Make sure there is no fillament left in the tube.
2. Press down the coupler (if applicable).
3. Place the PTFE tube in the tool’s notch and pull gently but firmly.
