Suggest using PETG printing, PLA has poor toughness and may crack during installation
The implementation of the bottom texture that I had always overlooked before, today I conducted a new test using this phone case.
Because printing phone cases lying flat is more convenient, how to add wood grain to the bottom as the main viewing surface? So I came up with a method to achieve wood grain on the bottom.
Changing the filling direction of the bottom surface first is useless because the hot bed will continue to heat the consumables, and the materials will almost completely blend together, thereby losing texture.
So I cancelled the part of the bottom that was affected by the wood grain modifier and directly exposed the internal support structure. This method is actually an old one. After testing several filling patterns, I think 70% spiral filling is suitable. If you find a more suitable one, please let me know. Thank you very much.
