Description

Bring the delicate art of Japanese paper folding to your heatbed. This unique model reimagines the classic Electric-type Pokémon as a striking origami masterpiece. We traded the soft curves for sharp, deliberate folds and crisp geometric lines, perfectly simulating the look of folded papercraft but with the solid durability of a 3D print. Whether you print it in a single solid color to emphasize the shadows of the folds, or use multi-color to bring it to life, this is a minimalist and elegant addition to any desk or collection.

The Paper Illusion: To get the best "folded paper" look, a standard layer height of 0.16mm or 0.20mm is highly recommended. The flat geometric faces actually look sharper and more authentic with a standard profile than with ultra-fine layers. Matte filaments work exceptionally well to sell the paper aesthetic.

  • Hand-Painted Showcase (Multi-Color Ready): Please note that the specific Pikachu showcased in the images was printed in a single color and carefully hand-painted to achieve its final look. However, the provided 3D model is fully optimized with distinct color boundaries, making it incredibly easy to paint by hand OR print directly in full color if you use an AMS/MMU system.
  •
  • Support Strategy: To maintain the illusion of delicate paper folds, you want clean underhangs. Minimal tree/organic supports are required, primarily under the heavy overhang of the tail and slightly under the chin.
  • Infill: 10% to 15% standard infill (like Gyroid) is enough. You want it sturdy, but it doesn't need to be heavy.
