Rear cable management system for Kobra S1 Max D3P riser
MODEL
This model is a modular cable management system for use with the Kobra S1 Max D3P riser - Link: 🧞♂️ Anycubic Kobra S1 Max D3P riser・ 3MF File for 3D printing・Cults
The cable management consists of the following components:
- A modular top bar;
- Long or short modular bottom bars;
- Cable clips for PTFE, RS485 and electrical - various sets are provided for both vertical and horizontal use (click on the parts or STL to see their intented use);
The cable management system allows you to configure and organise the rear of your D3P riser as you want.
INSTALLATION
Installation is quick and simple (see photos).
- Slice and clip in the vertical U-Clips on the supports at the rear of the top cabinet drawers;
- Slide in the top bar to lock the assembly;
- Three types of bottom bars are provided, a large one for the left and right side (the right side is notched to account for the LED cable) and a short bar for use on either side.
- Print the cable holders you want and simply slide them in the dovetail bars to secure them in place.
3D PRINTING
PRINT SETTINGS
IMPORTANT I upload a print setting files for all my models. The print settings has the parts positioned for correct printing with support painted.
I strongly recommended you use my print setting file. If not, I will not be able to assist you if there is an issue when printing. From experience, many of the issues with printing my models are on account of users not using my print settings.
3D PRINT SETTINGS
I use the following settings and materials to print this model:
Infill % : 15% (no need for more)
Nozzle diameter: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.2 mm standard
Walls: The model is set for 2 walls. Some users have reported better rigidity with 3 walls.
Material: The Anycubic Kobra S1 Max has an internal heater. PETG is the preferred choice for filament as it is about the same price as PLA but will sustain higher temps without deforming. You can also print the riser using ASA or ABS but this is more challenging due to possibility of warping. If you will only be printing PLA or PETG and will not place a dryer on the riser then you can print in PLA. This suggestion applies to the entire riser and not only the base parts.
