Spherical flexure joint - stabilized pointer

Description

Flexure stabilized Pointer - demonstration of stabilization by selective orientation of bend axis

• remodeled to remove weak points and make it self standing
• Twin color pointer (swap at layer) with correct end stop limiter for fixed point effect

IMPORTANT:

Model is sensitive to chosen material:

• When using PLA ensure its reasonably fresh wasn't stored in humid environment - exposure to humidity causes PLA to become brittle and its not reversible by drying
• Dry PETG is a good option due to strong inter layer adhesion and higher flexibility than PLA
