Hello everyone,
I needed to dampen the vibrations of my Kobra X—partly to improve print quality, but primarily to allow two high-speed printers to share the same surface without their vibrations interfering with one another.
To achieve this, I designed a foot that is soft yet features a stable structure capable of properly supporting the printer's weight.
This has helped to:
* Give the Kobra X a more robust and professional appearance.
* Compensate for any unevenness in the supporting surface—a common issue with the Kobra X, where the front and back may not sit perfectly level.
* Increase stability, thanks to a wider (yet low-profile) footprint.
* Reduce vibrations, resulting in cleaner prints.
IMPORTANT: There is no need to disassemble anything; simply push the 6 feet directly onto the existing ones! This makes installation easy and ensures the original feet remain functional.
Printing guidelines:
* Use TPU 95A filament.
* Print without top or bottom layers.
* 15% gyroid infill.
* 3 walls (perimeters).
* Set the print sequence to "by object" rather than "by layer" (this helps minimize stringing with TPU).
Post-installation steps:
* Re-run the Input Shaping and Auto-Leveling procedures. * To increase the height, you will need a taller waste bin; here is the link:

- I’ve also noted that the feet are compatible with the Kobra 4, as it shares the same base -
Thanks, and happy printing to everyone with our Kobra X!
