Tensegrity Soap Dish

Top dish with soap is suspended in air by 5 tensioned zip ties. Using zip ties instead of strings or wires makes assembly much easier.

You will need 10 at least 100 mm long 2,5 mm zip ties. 

Build:

1. Cut off the locking part from 5 zip ties. 
2. Mark 70 mm from the lock on 4 zip ties and run them through peripheral holes in top and then botom dish. 
3. Put cut off locks on zip ties and slide them to 70 mm mark. 
4. Put the center zip tie from bottom dish up. Put the lock on it and tension whole assembly through the large center hole in top dish. 
5. Cut off excess zip ties. 

Print with 0.2 mm layer, 100% infill, 3 perimeters, bottom dish no supports, top dish supports from build plate only.
