There is a path in Circlewood that must be found anew each autumn. 🍁

When the first golden leaf touches the ground, curious vines emerge beneath the fallen leaves. They curl around pumpkins and weave themselves together. By the time the morning mist has lifted, a bench stands at the end of the path, its back rising like a little woodland cathedral. 🎃🌿

No one has ever seen who makes it.

But its visitors have long been known.

They arrive at dusk, when the shadows of the trees meet. They settle among the pointed arches, brush their fingers over the leaves, and listen for the stories people have carried all year without finding the words to tell them. 🌙

Anyone who sits upon the bench begins to notice extraordinary things.

A distant light reveals itself as the wandering spark of a lost star. Doors appear between the roots. The rustling wind carries a dragon’s dream, and suddenly it seems perfectly clear why the old owl takes a single acorn to the abandoned tower each night. 🌟🦉

Legend says that many of the greatest storytellers once rested here. They arrived with crumpled pages in their coat pockets and wrote until dawn, while someone invisible sat beside them, quietly swinging their feet. 🖋️📜

One autumn, an elderly storyteller found the bench. For months, he had carried the same empty notebook.

He sat down, placed it beside him, and sighed.

“I think I have forgotten how to tell a story.”

For a long time, he watched the leaves fall. 🍂
