๐ Description
Iโm a huge music enthusiast and vinyl collector, storing my records in an IKEA KALLAX 2ร2 and KALLAX 1ร1 shelf (compatible with any other size).
Over time, I noticed some common issues with this setup:
- The vinyls donโt stay perfectly aligned due to the open back of the shelf.
- The back panel, in my case, tends to accumulate a lot of moisture.
To "solve" this problem, I designed, together with @dariodanisi8, a modular back panel specifically made for the KALLAX.
This solution creates a proper block for each compartment, preventing direct contact with the damp wall and, most importantly, keeping the vinyls neat and aligned.

๐งฉ Composition
The system consists of two modular pieces that, once inserted into the shelf, can be easily fixed with a few nails.
Two nails per piece are enough, but each element has four holes to allow alternative or stronger fixing if needed.
