Description

**If you download, print, or collect this model, I would really appreciate it if you take the time to click the like <3 button (or even the boost if you see fit) as I put a ton of time, experimentation, and filament into developing, testing, and posting these free models- and your support helps me continue to do so!

Cute little iridescent vase made with the MakerLabs Make My Vase tool (https://makerworld.com/makerlab/makeMyVase). Printed on my A1 Mini, the file is for the 5 inch version, but it can be scaled up or down- for instance the pic with the flowers is 6 inches tall (15+ hours for silk though), and the teensy one in black/green is 3 inches tall (about 2.5 hours for the silk one).

Pictured are printed in Conjure Tri-color Silk (Red, Green, Blue) and the green/black is Anycubic Dual Color Silk.

This decorative vase is water-resistant (doesn't dissolve in water) but not fully waterproof- if you wish to use it with real plants and water you may wish to seal it with a waterproof sealant.

PRINT INFO/RECOMMENDATIONS

2mm layer height

Turn OFF Smooth Speed Discontinuity Area setting

*THE FOLLOWING ARE IMPORTANT SETTINGS FOR ACHIEVING LESS SUPPORT MATERIAL THAT IS EASIER TO REMOVE*

Use normal supports (tree supports tend to fall over inside) and I manually marked supports only on the inside of the vase on the overhang and blocked all supports on he exterior by painting support blocks.

Top Z Distance- 4mm

Bottom Z Distance- 2mm

Top Interface Layers- 3

Bottom Interface- 1

Support object xy distance- .65mm

PLEASE NOTE: The support settings are specifically set in the 3mf file to ensure easier support removal, etc. If you change these then results will vary. Supports may start out a little messy with some not sticking on one side or another where they first start printing, but for my prints they caught up further up as the print continued and worked out fine- however this is using the slower settings in the 3mf file- if you run it faster or change settings it may fail for yours.
