Model Upload Guidelines

Thank you for contributing your work to Makeronline! To ensure content quality and a positive user experience, please review these guidelines before uploading your models, images, descriptions, and tags.

1.  Quality Design Suitable for Printing

Upload refined, detailed models that are optimized for printing. Avoid low-quality, rough, or duplicate designs.

2.  Comprehensive Information and Compliance

Use accurate names and detailed descriptions to facilitate users' understanding of the purpose.

At the same time, ensure that the work is original or authorized, and respect copyright.

3.  Diverse and Creative Creations

Upload a variety of model styles to showcase your creativity and make platform content more diverse and engaging.

Prohibited Behaviors

1. Low-Quality Content

(1) Poor Image Quality:

  • Overexposed or too dark images.
  • Images with low clarity that affect recognition.
  • Images with borders (black or white) exceeding one-third of the entire image.
  • Images with large watermarks or blocked main subjects.
  • Excessive tilt or deformation, affecting visual quality.
  • Non-substantive or irrelevant images.

(2) Poor Text Quality:

  • Unorganized text (garbled, no paragraphs, no punctuation).
  • Unclear theme, disconnected or repetitive content, or excessive unrelated content.
  • Titles or descriptions not matching the model.
  • Spam, irrelevant, or redundant low-quality content.

(3) Publishing Issues:

  • Content identical or highly similar to existing platform content.
  • Uploading multiple models of the same type.
  • Using the same photo for multiple models.
  • Splitting a complete model into multiple uploads.
  • Test data.

(4) File Issues:

  • Damaged or unreadable files.
  • Missing detailed files of the model.
  • Incorrect file formats.

2. Violations of Community Atmosphere

(1) Uncivil Content:

  • Content that disrupts social order or breaches public morals.
  • Use of disrespectful language.

(2) Personal Attacks and Hostility:

  • Harassment, incitement to group attacks, or discriminatory language.
  • Content that promotes hatred or incites conflict.

(3) Non-Original Content:

  • Direct use of others' original content without permission.
  • Usage of others' material without stating shared rights.

(4) Improper Cover Images or Titles:

  • Exaggerated, eye-catching, or misleading representations.
  • Titles or descriptions that are factually inaccurate or misleading.

3. Policy and Legal Violations

(1) Prohibited Content:

  • Violent, extremist, or terror-related content.
  • Content threatening national security or sovereignty.
  • Disparaging references to regional and cultural sensitivities.

(2) Sensitive Information:

  • Content disrespecting national symbols or heroes.
  • Negative or controversial religious content.

(3) Prohibited Products and Services:

  • Illegal publications, gambling, or drug-related content.
  • Privacy violations or disclosures without consent.

4. Display of Sexual or Obscene Content

(1) Overly Explicit Content:

Inappropriate nudity or suggestive behavior.

(2) Sexualization of Minors:

Any content depicting or implying minors in a sexual context.

(3) Infant Exposure:

Exposure of sensitive parts in images of infants or children.

5. Copyright Protection

（1）Model uploaders must respect the intellectual property of others. Models that have not been authorized by the copyright owner are not permitted to be uploaded.

（2）If the platform receives a complaint or report from a copyright owner alleging that certain models on our platform infringe their rights, our administrators will verify the situation. If the infringement is confirmed, the model will be removed promptly.

6. AI-Generated Models

The platform maintains an open attitude toward AI-generated 3D models and allows users to upload AI-designed files that support 3D printing. However, please note the following:

（1）Uploaded models must meet high-quality standards and be suitable for actual 3D printing.

（2）Maliciously uploading low-quality AI-generated models, repeatedly submitting duplicate content, or frequently uploading substandard files to gain coins will result in account restrictions, and in severe cases, account suspension.

We understand the creative and convenient advantages AI modeling offers and aim to provide users with more possibilities while ensuring community standards are upheld.

Special Note

To enrich the variety of content on the platform, different types of models may be rewarded at different times, encouraging users to upload diverse creations.

Users are prohibited from misusing the upload function or exploiting point redemptions to obtain improper benefits. The platform reserves the right to independently determine violations—including, but not limited to, the aforementioned actions that harm user and platform interests—and to implement appropriate measures, such as warnings, functionality restrictions, or account termination. For major penalties, users will be notified through their registered channels and granted the opportunity to appeal. The platform continually refines its rule system and, in accordance with the principle of good faith, reserves the right to interpret and update these terms.
