Elevated Clearence Hinge (Print in-place hinge)

f a standard hinge doesn’t work due to an obstruction directly beneath the swivel or hinge mechanism, this custom hinge design might be just what you need.

The current model offers a clearance equal to the thickness of the mounting surface, which is 3 mm.

Note: This is a print-in-place hinge, so ensure your printer can handle a minimum clearance of 0.2 mm. After printing, gently break in the moving parts before mounting to ensure smooth operation.

If you need additional clearance, you can:

• Scale the model,
• Increase the thickness of the mounting plate, or
• Modify the included SolidWorks files as needed.
