Description

This is an initial test build published to solicit feedback for improvement.

VESA 75mm mounting plate for attaching a small monitor to a tool holder backplate.

I created this as I have a laser engraver and I wanted to mount a small monitor above it.

Note: Although this holder will fit on a Gladiator backplate it is not generally usable with one as the Gladiator plate needs to tilt and angle up to be inserted into the GearTrack or GearWall. Which is not possible with a monitor mounted to it. It should work with most of the other backplates in the series. If you need one for a Gladiator system see the two piece VESA 75mm tool plate instead.

Design Concept:

A series of tool and accessory holders that can be attached to modular mount plates for various brands track / wall systems, or in most cases mounted directly to the wall.

Printing Instructions:

The minimum tested infill for most parts was 10% grid pattern with 3 wall loops using PLA+ filament. 15-20% infill is recommended for better durability, or performing selective reinforcement of key areas (hooks, fingers, etc.) during slicing.

Assembly:

The series is designed to use M4 screws and nuts, with a M4x16mm screw, washer, and nut being optimal for most of the modules in the series.

Revision 1 - Prototype

Revision 2 - Beta Testing

Revision 3 - Added labeling to model(s) to be able to distinguish the different revisions. Fixed some screw alignment issues with the screw holes for mounting to the monitor being just a little out of alignment.
