Description

The promised mount for the Kobra 2 Pro's antenna upgrade. It is compatible with both the Kobra 2 Pro and Max. It not compatible with the Kobra 3 series.

It uses a screw less design, that instead relies on the foot of the printer and the cable's tension to keep it steady.

Required purchases:

30cm Wifi Antenna Cable Two Pack (FOR THE MAX YOU WILL NEED A LONGER CABLE)

2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6&6EGHz Wifi Antenna Two Pack

To install, open up the bottom of the printer. Find the plug for the stock wifi cable. It will look like the head on the smaller side of the replacement cable.

Unplug it and plug in the replacement cable.

Feed it out where the rest of the cable go, and screw the antenna onto the other end of the wifi cable.

Close up the printer, and take the 3d printed mount and place the cable end of the antenna into the small slot. It won't slide in, but give it some gentle force, and it will keep a solid grip on the antenna.

Raise up the nearest foot of the printer (the front left one) and place it inside the large slot on the antenna mount. Gently release your printer down on your desktop (or other desired platform).

Straighten the antenna if needed, then set something on to print!
