Description

n elegant NAS/Server with support for 3.5 inch drive and active cooling with a fan. It works wonder as a backup server, for example for TimeMachine or ZFS replication.

If you want to use ZFS remember to use the 64 bit version of Raspberry Pi OS

Extra info

The case is for the Raspberry Pi 2/3/4 and it's divided into 3 compartment. The center one is for a 3.5 inch HDD, one is for the Pi and another one can fit a 2.5 inch drive or any usb device that can fit in. For example a 2.5 Gbps usb adapter or a RTL-SDR

There's 17mm of clearance for a SATA extension or two 90ยฐ adapter and you will need a powered USB - SATA adapter (Obviously).

I suggest using a round fan like the 90mm AMD Ryzen stock cooler fan (VARIANT A) it looks cool and it's more space efficient

Another version (VARIANT B) is available, I haven't tested it yet but it should work and any square 80mm fan

I tested the AMD fan and it works with the 5V provided by the Pi's GPIO

You can use an USB extender if you want connect some other USB peripherals (Obviously)
