Sorting Tray (Hidden Magnets!)

I made this sorting tray to be a functional, everyday organizer with magnets hidden near the bottom of the base. It keeps small items sorted without the magnets showing, which is what makes it different from a plain tray.

There are two versions: one needs 4 magnets in total, and the other needs 8 magnets to keep more inside the tray. I used 15% to 30% infill with a gyroid pattern, no supports, and PLA, PETG, or ABS/ASA. The profile runs on one plate in 1 hour 56 minutes 36 seconds.

Print settings:

• Infill: 15%-30%
• Infill Type: Gyroid
• Supports: NO
• Filament: PLA, PETG, or ABS/ASA
• Listed profile: 1 plate in 1 hour 56 minutes 36 seconds

Tips:

• Plan for the magnet step: for the 4-magnet version, pause the print at 4.60, and for the 8-magnet version, pause at 4.60 as well. I used the 0.20 Quality setting, so that setting affects which layer you pause at.
• The photos show a slightly smaller print, because I was low on filament when I printed them.
