This modification will prevent duel z axis from going out of synchronization. i had installed the duel z axis motor/lead screws kit, and it tends to go out of sync when the machine is off..so i created this bracket (in blue color) to hold belt's tension which hold the two lead screws in sync. (so this is a tensioner for the belt). some hardware is needed to be purchased: - duel z axis kit (needed for those who does not have it) Link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006063812437.html - 1 x GT2 6mm belt x 630mm Link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004307281984.html - 2 x GT2 Timing pulley 20 teeth x 8mm bore. Link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004338980929.html - 1 x GT2 idler pulley 20 teeth x 3mm bearing bore. Link: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004411643474.html - 2 x M3 T-Nuts. - 2 x M3 x 10mm bolts. - 1 x M3 x 25mm bolt. Parts to Print: 1 x tension bracket. 1 x washers (to be place between the idler pulley and the bracket acts as spacer). installation: - install the duel z motor kit (if its not installed already). - install the timing pulleys on each lead screw (has to be under the brackets highlighted in red and keep a 0.5mm space in between. - fit the belt around the z axis before installing the brackets came with the duel z motor kit. - add the tensioner and the idler pulley, fit the belt in it and then move the tensioner to one side to get the belt tensioned to your like.
