YinYang Cats Charms

These cats were designed as matching accessories such as keychains, necklaces, or bracelets for couples or best friends. The connection between them works purely mechanically by sliding one part into the other.

The model was designed with a tolerance slightly above 0.2 mm and tested on several FDM printers, including Snapmaker, Prusa MK4S, Bambu A1 Mini, and Bambu A1. Depending on your printer, nozzle thickness and settings, you may need to scale the model by 1 to 2 percent on the X and Y axes to achieve a perfect fit.

For best results, make sure there is no small printing defects, as these can make the connection impossible. Do not remove the print from the build plate while it is still hot, as this may affect its final dimensions. After printing, it is recommended to connect and disconnect the cats a few times to make the movement smoother.

If the fit is still not ideal, you can slightly increase or decrease the scale of one of the parts by a few percent.

For a nicer surface finish, feel free to experiment with infill settings and surface patterns.
