💀 Four skulls, one cone, a river of smoke.
A gothic stone fountain for backflow incense cones. Place a cone on top: the smoke sinks into the
ornate flask, splits into four equal channels and pours out of the open jaws of four skulls, flowing
down into the fountain basin like a ghostly waterfall.
⚙️ HOW IT WORKS
• The cone sits on the amphora-shaped top, on a metal washer glued to it (the washer protects the
plastic from the heat)
• A 5 mm hole leads the smoke into a small spherical chamber inside the flask
• The chamber divides the smoke into 4 hidden channels (5 mm), all joining the sphere at the same
height, so every skull gets its share
• The channels run down inside the stone block and open into the skulls' mouths
• Everything goes downhill: no fans, no tricks, just gravity
📦 WHAT'S INCLUDED
• 2 STL parts: fountain top (flask, arches, skulls) and base (basin with column)
• Simple box joint: the base has a 20 × 20 mm peg that fits into the socket under the top
📏 SIZE
• About 150 × 150 × 133 mm assembled
• Top: 74 × 74 × 90 mm. Base: 150 × 150 × 50 mm (fits a 256 × 256 mm bed)
🔩 YOU ALSO NEED
• 1 metal washer, about 16 mm outer diameter (M8): the only part to glue, on the 15 mm flat top
• Backflow incense cones
• No glue needed for the two parts: the top simply slots onto the base (a drop of glue only if you
want it permanent)
🖨️ PRINTING
• Print profile included: it's the one I used for the fountain in the video, so just load it and
print. If you change settings, keep an eye on the supports (see below)
• Both parts print upright on their flat bottom: the top on its square base, the base on the basin
floor
• Supports only for the skull jaws, the arches and the gargoyles. Check the sliced preview: no
supports must end up inside the smoke channels
• PLA works; PETG is better if your room gets warm. The cone never touches the plastic thanks to the
washer
🔥 TIPS FOR A NICE SMOKE FLOW
• Put the cone right on the hole and keep the burner away from drafts, fans and open windows
• If one skull smokes less, blow gently through the top hole: dust or a print string may be blocking
the channel
• Clean the channels from time to time: incense resin slowly builds up inside
⚠️ Never leave burning incense unattended. Place the fountain on a heat-resistant surface, away from
children, pets and anything flammable.
