This is an apple you press instead of eat.
At a glance it's just a sliced apple sitting on your desk: red skin, a pale-yellow cut face, two little brown seeds, and a single green leaf poking out from behind. It looks like it came straight off the fruit bowl.
Then you put your finger on the flesh in the middle — and it clicks.
A short, crisp, oddly satisfying tock. Let go and it springs right back, waiting for the next one. No batteries, no sound chip, no electronics — just a leaf-spring inside and a carefully tuned press distance. It's the kind of thing your hands reach for while you're stuck in a meeting, rewriting the same slide for the fourth time, or waiting on a reply that isn't coming.
The print uses four colors across three plates: the red body (with the loop at the back), the yellow cut face with its brown seeds, and the green leaf. Print all three, snap them together, done. The two seeds are printed as a same-color shallow relief, so they sit just above the surface — you can feel them with a fingertip, and there's nothing to paint afterward.
Roughly 44 mm across and 22 mm tall, small enough to live in your palm, on the corner of your desk, or right next to your keyboard. Great as a desk toy, a fidget, or a small gift for the coworker who never stops tapping their pen.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away. A hundred clicks a day keeps the stress away.
