Archmage vs Dragon : Death Duel丨Monitor Wars of Halloween 4/4

Just as the mage apprentice runs out of strength, the Archmage arrives — Ember Dragon and Archmage go at it in a battle that shakes the sky. Molten dragonfire and the Archmage's strange arcane beam collide head-on in mid-air. This Halloween is not going to be an ordinary night.

This is Halloween Special #4/4 in Monitor Wars series. A complete little scene that comes with the Ember Dragon and its flame, and pumpkin Archmage and its castle built as a monitor ambient light that wakes with your PC. The second you boot up and the screen lights up, the dragon's breath erupts and the mage's arcane beam fires out at the same instant. Every boot, the same fantastical Halloween battle.

Supports are already set up, so it prints as-is. I've optimised them as much as I can — almost all contact faces are sloped, and both PLA and PETG release cleanly in my testing.

By default the scene mounts on top of your monitor facing left. Want it facing right? Just mirror the whole model.

The lighting setup is simple, yet it is relatively complex among the four models in this series. It uses two 5V 1.5 mm 360° COB USB LED strips for the dragonfire and magic beam respectively(red and purple). The magic beam’s light is installed internally, while the dragonfire strip runs behind the magic beam. The exposed wiring is glued and hidden behind the magic beam.

5V 1.5 mm 360° COB USB LED strip works — in China search it on Pinduoduo for around ¥10; overseas, the same keywords on Etsy, Amazon, Seeed Studio or AliExpress(Link below).. Feed it in (a dab of oil or WD-40 at the top helps it slide), fix it with a spot of glue, and plug it into the USB port on the back of your monitor or straight into your PC — Legendary Magic vs Dragonfire Battle lights up with your machine, no switch to press.

It's compatible with the other dragons and parts in my Monitor Wars series, sized to the 20 cm group by default. Try printing the Lone Shield Warrior or the Ice Blue Frost Skeleton Dragon too and build out a bigger battlefield on top of your screen.Note: Mirror the dragon in the linked file before using it with this Halloween series.

在南瓜学徒力竭之际，南瓜大法师终于赶到，和烬狱焚鳞魔龙展开了一场惊天动地的大战，魔龙炙热的龙焰和南瓜法师诡谲的魔法光束在空中猛烈对撞——这个万圣节，注定不是个平凡之夜！

本作是《显示器上的战争》系列万圣节特别篇之四，一整套完整场景自带烬狱焚鳞魔龙与它的龙焰，也是同步电脑启动的屏幕联动氛围灯。在电脑开机、屏幕点亮的瞬间，烬狱焚鳞魔龙的龙息同步轰然迸发，南瓜法师的魔法光束也同步激射而出！每一次开机，都能感受这场烬狱焚鳞魔龙与南瓜法师的万圣大战！

模型已经设置好支撑，可直接一键打印。支撑已经尽可能优化过，绝大部分都是斜面，实测 PLA 和 PETG 都能完整拆除。

默认安装在显示器顶端、朝左，需要朝右安装的话，把模型整体镜像一下即可。

灯光设置很简单，但在本系列四部作品中属于相对复杂的一款。模型使用两条 5V 1.5 毫米 360° COB USB 灯带，分别用于龙焰与魔法光束（红和紫）。魔法光束的灯带安装在内部，龙焰灯带从魔法光束后方走线；外露的线路用胶水固定，隐藏在魔法光束背后。

5V 1.5mm 360度 COB 灯带，国内拼多多搜一下 10 块左右，海外的朋友在Etsy、 Amazon、Seeed Studio、AliExpress 搜同样的关键词；穿灯之前可以在顶端加一点油或者 WD40，进去之后点上一点胶固定，USB 口插显示器背后、或者插主机上都行，开机就能感受旷世龙焰与魔法的大战。
