Dot Dock Headphone Stand

Dot Dock is a minimal over-ear headphone stand inspired by Nothing’s design: dot-matrix patterns, one red accent and nothing extra. It prints upright with no supports, and the red dot can be printed in a second colour.

Features

• Dot-matrix neck: a grid of 9 × 22 through-holes. The dots shrink from 3.2 mm at the bottom to 1.4 mm at the top, so the stand seems to fade out. Hold it to the light and you’ll see through the holes.
• Contoured headband saddle: the top is curved, with a 30 mm channel and a 3 mm lip on each side to keep the headband centred.
• Red dot inlay: a 6 mm red dot set flush into the corner of the base. It’s a separate part, so you can print it in a second colour with an AMS or similar multicolour system. The dot fills its pocket exactly, so there are no gaps.
• Cable pass-through: a 15 × 10 mm slot behind the neck takes a USB-C plug. A 4.4 × 4.5 mm channel on the underside leads to the back edge. Press the cable up into it from below. It’s a snug fit for a typical charging lead, and the base still sits flat.
• Stable base: a 110 × 100 mm rounded-square base with a filleted neck. The stand is about 171 mm tall.
• No supports: the saddle’s underside has a 45° chamfer, and the holes and channel are small enough to bridge.

• Material: PLA. White or translucent for the body, red for the dot.
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Walls: 3–4
• Infill: 15–20%
• Orientation: upright, as supplied
• Supports: none
• Tip: turn on elephant-foot compensation, and stick a thin strip of felt on the saddle to protect your headband.

Important notes

• The saddle is sized from the dimensions of the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro, with a headband about 27 mm wide. If your headband is wider than about 27 mm, the channel and lips will need scaling.
