A large articulated super robot inspired by the iconic 1970s mecha style, designed for multicolor 3D printing and display.
The model is divided into separate color parts, so it can be printed without painting using blue, red, black, white, silver and yellow filament.
It features movable joints at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles, allowing different display poses.
The model was designed as a large collectible figure, with removable parts and mechanical joints. Some sanding or small tolerance adjustments may be required depending on printer calibration and filament type.
For stronger joints and structural parts, PLA+, PETG or another resistant material is recommended.
Main features:
- Fully articulated body
- Separate multicolor parts
- No painting required
- Large display model
- Replaceable and removable components
- Classic 1970s super robot design
- Suitable for FDM printers

Important Joint tolerance note
The joint tolerances were intentionally designed slightly loose to reduce the risk of breakage during assembly and posing.
To increase friction and help the model hold its position, I used small rubber plumbing washers with approximately 10 mm and 5 mm outer diameter, depending on the joint size. These are easy to find in hardware stores, plumbing departments or inexpensive household shops.
Place the rubber washer inside the joint before assembly. The rubber adds the necessary friction and makes the articulated parts much more stable while still allowing movement.
Because printers and materials can produce slightly different tolerances, you may need to test different washer thicknesses or diameters to obtain the desired resistance.
