A hexagon pop-up fidget with individually moving buttons and a satisfying click when pressed. A tactile desk toy you can print in your favorite color.
PRINTING
The included Bambu Studio 3MF has three plates: hexagon caps, printed springs, and the base. It is prepared for a Bambu Lab A1 with a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layers, using PLA. Keep the project's per-object settings when using it, and select the correct printer and filament presets before slicing on another printer.
ASSEMBLY
1. Remove any support material and brims carefully, especially around the small spring holders.
2. Push each printed spring into its holder in the base.
3. Place the matching cap over the spring and seat the other end of the spring in the holder inside the cap. Alignment matters: the spring must sit correctly at both ends.
4. Check one button first, then assemble the remaining buttons. Make sure each cap moves freely before regular use.
