Modern Advent Wreath for LED Tealights - Stepped Candle Holder with Numbers 1-4

A clean, modern Advent wreath for four LED tealights. The four candle holders step up from 1 to 4, so you can see at a glance which Sunday of Advent it is, and each number sits on the ring right next to its candle: inlaid in a second colour, or engraved if you print in one colour. Twelve small holes take real or faux sprigs, so you can dress it with fir, eucalyptus or berries and give it a new look every year.

FEATURES

• Size 240 x 240 x 38 mm: ring 240 mm across, 30 mm wide, 14 mm tall, rounded top edges
• 4 stepped candle holders, 52 mm across and 20 / 26 / 32 / 38 mm tall: candle 1 is the lowest, then counter-clockwise up to candle 4
• Seats 39.5 mm across and 12 mm deep, with a 1 mm lead-in chamfer, for standard LED tealights 38-39 mm in diameter
• A 16 mm hole under every seat: push the tealight out from below to reach its on/off switch
• Numbers 1-4 next to their candles: a 0.6 mm inlay in a second colour (only the top 3 layers of the ring change colour) or engraved 0.6 mm deep in the one-colour version
• 12 holes 4.2 mm x 10 mm deep, 3 between each pair of candles, for real or faux sprigs, picks and berries with stems up to 4 mm
• 4 shallow round seats underneath for 10 mm adhesive bumper feet: the wreath doesn't slide and doesn't scratch the table
• Smooth R3 fillets where the holders meet the ring: no sharp inside corners, easy to dust
• Prints flat on the plate without supports and fits 250 x 250 mm beds and larger (240 mm footprint)
• Parametric Fusion 360 file included: ring diameter and width, holder height and step (0 = all the same height), tealight diameter and clearance, sprig hole size, number size and depth are all User Parameters

LED TEALIGHTS ONLY

This wreath is made for battery LED tealights. Never use real tealights or candles in it: PLA softens at about 60 °C and burns. The seats fit the common 38-39 mm LED tealights; measure yours before printing, or change the tealight diameter in the Fusion file.

PRINT SETTINGS

0.20 mm layers, 3 walls, 4 top / 4 bottom layers, 15% gyroid infill, no supports, textured PEI plate. PLA (matte looks best). The wreath prints upright with its flat bottom on the plate; the only bridges are the 10 mm ceilings of the feet seats.

• All versions - 3 plates: black numbers, red numbers, one colour (PLA, ACE Pro): Plate 1: white wreath with black inlaid numbers. Plate 2: white wreath with red inlaid numbers. Plate 3: white wreath with engraved numbers (one colour). Print the plate you want. All 3 plates: 15 h 07 min, 451 g.
• One colour - white, engraved numbers (PLA): The whole wreath in white PLA, numbers engraved 0.6 mm deep. 4 h 57 min, 151 g.
• Two colours - white wreath, black numbers (PLA, ACE Pro): White wreath with black inlaid numbers: only the top 3 layers change colour. 5 h 05 min, 150 g.
• Two colours - white wreath, red numbers (PLA, ACE Pro): White wreath with red inlaid numbers: only the top 3 layers change colour. 5 h 05 min, 150 g.

ASSEMBLY

1. Press an adhesive bumper foot into each of the 4 round seats underneath.
2. Switch the LED tealights on and push them into the seats. To take one out, push it up with a finger through the hole underneath.
3. Optional: push sprigs, picks or berries into the 12 small holes (a little poster putty holds thin stems).
4. Light candle 1 on the first Sunday of Advent and one more every Sunday after that.
